Leaf printing tree

Here is our tree we made by printing leaves we collected.  Talked about mixing colours, what happens to leaves in autumn and the patterns on them.

Rice play

Rainy day idea. Rice in a large container with spoons, tractors and tubs. Lots of fun. Promotes language around pouring, size of spoons and tubs etc.

Easter egg craft

These were really easy to do - I simply cut out some egg shapes from card and on one side drew on some patterns for them to colour in.

I let the children use pens and stickers to decorate the eggs.  You could use paint/glitter/tissue paper too.

Once they were finished I threaded them together and have them as hanging decorations.
