Ladybird letters
I spied this wonderful idea on another blog -http://www.herecomethegirlsblog.com/2013/08/26/ladybug-letters.html where stones were painted to look like ladybirds and letters were put on their backs. The child can then find and arrange the letters of their name in the right order.
Today we were pushed for time so we didn't paint the stones - instead I cut out foam shapes and we decorated them. We cut out a shiny green leaf for them to be arranged on.
Here is our quick version of the fab idea from "Herecomethegirls" -

We plan to add more letters next week - maybe making some yellow ladybirds too!
